"Sting is our whole life": Delighted festival-goers at La Nuit de l'Erdre...

Singer Sting was on stage at La Nuit de l'Erdre for one of the first nights of the festival in Nort-sur-Erdre (Loire-Atlantique). The atmosphere was great.

Singer Sting appeared on stage five minutes ahead of schedule, at 10:15 p.m., with his favorite bass and band on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at La Nuit de l'Erdre in Nort-sur-Erdre. True to his image, the handsome, blond young man of 73 years (no less!) seems as if he hasn't aged a bit—like his universal and timeless songs—and conveyed his enthusiasm with his infectious smile.

From the outset, he set the tone with a highly electric rendition of "Message in a Bottle," a song written 46 years ago. "It doesn't make us any younger," said "Totor," one of the festival-goers, "but Sting is our whole life; we've been rocked by their songs for so many years. And it continues."

The audience, mostly composed of quite a few forty- and fifty-somethings, some of whom had come with their families to see the living legend, immediately embraced it. A joyful nostalgia that was felt in the crowd's fervor as soon as Sting sang songs from his first band, the Police.

You only had to see the sparkle in the audience's eyes and the collective euphoria from the first notes of Roxane... Magical Sting!
