Sting in Ajaccio: a successful concert for the audience, "It's magical to have been able to see him so close, he's a legend"...

A two-hour concert just for Ajaccio. This Thursday, August 1, 2024, Sting set the Casone Theatre ablaze, performing his greatest hits. The crowd left captivated by this show, presented by the Aiò Festival.

"Extraordinary," "magical," "brilliant." There was no shortage of praise after Sting's concert. Around 11:15 p.m., the audience left delighted to have been able to see the British star at the Casone in Ajaccio. One of them said "he doesn't regret coming. It's magical to have been able to see him so close. He's a legend. We won't see him again anytime soon."

On the program for this closing performance of the Aiò Festival: a two-hour show in front of 7,000 people who came to hear his greatest hits. "He sang Roxane and Englishman in New York, my favorite songs," enthused one spectator.

Other songs were performed, such as "Shape of My Heart," as well as more recent releases. A true distillation of his repertoire, the crowd cheered on the former member of The Police.

Jean-François Bernardini, of the Corsican band I Muvrini, was also part of the show. Sting invited him to sing "Fields of Gold." Not to mention Henry Padovani, guitarist of The Police. "It was worth the heat. Everything went perfectly," explained a long-time fan.

This concert event was eagerly awaited by the organizers. An exceptional set-up was put in place for the occasion. Around a hundred people were mobilized to ensure the evening ran smoothly.

This organization was praised by Michel Marti, who was pleased to have "managed to have an international star of this stature for the first time. Having such fame also requires sacrifices."

Michel Marti espère maintenant dénicher d’autres célébrités. Mais pour lui, comme pour le public, Sting sur l’île de beauté créera un précédent.
