The audience at the Zénith in Caen (Calvados) eagerly awaited the arrival of British singer and bassist Sting, and this concert evening, scheduled for April 2022 but then postponed due to Covid cases among the staff, finally arrived. On Sunday, October 16, 2022, the Caen concert hall was sold out, with around 6,500 people, for this leg of the international star's tour, entitled Sting My Songs.

The half-hour opening act was provided by his son, Joe Sumner, whose promising voice was very strong. He dedicated a song to his wife, who lives "very far away," "See You Again."

Then the former frontman of The Police took the stage with his musicians, in front of a packed house and a captivated audience. The hits followed one after the other, starting with "Message in a Bottle." The audience went wild with "Walking on the Moon," singing along to the lyrics, just as they did with "Every Breath You Take."

Joe Sumner joined his father on stage for one song. Sting performed three songs from his debut album, The Bridge, and reserved Roxanne for the encore. But there were no Russians on the set list. Too bad!
